I was born in Bolzano in 1956, where I still live and work. I work in the field of art, specifically artist’s books, installations and illustrations. I have a very small studio where I do my work, full of books, materials and often a great deal of untidiness. I run art laboratories and workshops at museums of contemporary art and various other organisations. I publish in Italy and abroad.
My work has been exhibited in numerous national and international exhibitions, including: Biennale del Libro d’Artista di Cassino (Biennial of Artists’ Books in Cassino), Biennale del Libro d’Artista di Napoli (Biennial of Artists’ Books in Naples), “Artbooks in Archivo” Durante Artelibro di Bologna (“Artbooks in the Archives” during Artelibro in Bologna), “Libro de Artista y de la Pequenas Edicione” in Barcelona, Libri dai Libri Schio, Belgrado e Vicenza (Books From Books in Schio, Belgrade and Vicenza), Biennale di Arte e Design di Padova (Biennial of Art and Design in Padova) and Délires de Livres.
Amongst the prizes awarded to me, I can list the Stupor Sensibile Prize (Libri Mai Mai Visti – Books Never Ever Seen), the Libcomelibrarsi Prize (Libri Fatti a Mano – Hand-Made Books) and Best International Apps & E-Books (Kirkus Reviews).
My artist’s books can be found in private collections and at public institutions.
